Love how it challenged the whole idea that our kids are our “retirement plan.” The reminder about how relying on our children for financial security is a heavy burden to place on them is spot on. I also appreciate the emphasis on building our own nest egg and thinking long-term about our financial independence.

    So here’s my question: What do you think are some realistic side hustles we can pick up to boost our savings while still managing our daily grind? I asked this because I’ve seen so many of my friends get stuck in the cycle of just working to get by, but it’d be interesting to hear what creative ways everyone is exploring to actually create that financial freedom!
