One reply to “My life is so hard, they have more than me

  1. Hey, great read! You really hit the nail on the head about how we often get trapped in this comparison culture, thinking life’s an unfair race. The part about everyone having their own struggles? So true lah! It’s real eye-opening to see that behind all the “highlight reels” on social media, everyone’s fighting their own battles.

But I can’t help but wonder, do you guys think we will ever reach a point where we start appreciating our own paths instead of comparing ourselves to others? I mean, for real! With all the pressure we face, especially as part of the sandwich generation juggling responsibilities for both our kids and our parents, it’s getting harder to see our accomplishments as valid.

Asking this question because if we just keep looking sideways, we will never celebrate our own wins, no matter how small. To remedy our situation, maybe we need more discussions like this to reframe our mindset! Would love to hear everyone else’s thoughts on this!
