From my experience, I always find at least one issue with every places that I worked that made me think ‘Ok, this is this company’s vice.’. Nowdays I expect it as a company’s necessary evil. Incompetent and/or micromanaging boss, stingy management, overworked and underpaid employees, unpaid overtime, overly competitive culture, you name it, I probably saw it. Even had a case when someone I personally knew died due to mismanagement.
I’ve come to realize that, as a autistic person, no one work environment will ever be perfect for me, either I accept it or I die without money. Work is just for money, and for that I will have to give up my time and sanity.
