  1. I remember an article which wrote on how the ultra rich hope to survive the end of the world, cause by among other reasons economic collapse ( the irony that they are the ones contributing to that by hoarding wealth is lost on them).

    The ideas that they had ranged from the usual, like underground bunkers, to the insane like putting shock collars on their security force.

    If you are alone at the end of the world, a bunker isn’t a refuge. It’s a glorified tomb.

  2. In my religion, Islam, when every person reaches a certain amount of wealth (minimum networth equivalent to 85 grams of gold), they are required to contribute 2.5% of their wealth to the poor. This is called zakat. This helps in balance the gap between the rich and the poor.
