I think that there are too much considerations. This may make one feel too confused of the sort of commitments before making the decisions. Having said that, it makes one feel stressed along the way while having to support the family and chasing the desired job.
My take is that there is no dream job. The dream job is created by one and one will have to decide on the type of lifestyle he/she desire. There is no doubt that some sacrifices have to be made in the type of lifestyle. I cannot say whether most of the people will accept such approach. It is entirely up to each individuals to make the appropriate selection close to the heart.
Really enjoyed this post! It’s super relatable, especially for those of us in our 30s trying to navigate career changes while juggling family responsibilities. I totally vibe with the idea that before making any drastic moves, we should evaluate our current situation, right? The reminder about identifying not just what we want, but also why we want it really hit home. I mean, it’s easy to get caught up in what looks good on paper, but does it actually align with our values and lifestyle?
Here’s a thought: What’s the biggest fear holding you back from making that leap? I ask this because often, it’s our fears that prevent us from taking the steps we really want to pursue. Addressing those fears could be the key to finding not just a job, but a career that genuinely resonates with who we are!
Love your work (writing style and those cool drawings), keep it up!
