One reply to “Is it okay if I don’t become a manager?

  1. Hey, just read the post and I gotta say, it really hits home! I totally relate to the struggle of feeling pressured to climb the corporate ladder when all you want is to focus on doing what you love. It’s refreshing to see someone validate the choice of not wanting to be a manager, especially in a society that often equates success with a title.

I love how you pointed out that not everyone has to fit into the cookie-cutter mold of success. It’s super important for us to find fulfillment in our own roles without the extra stress of managing people.

So here’s my question: How do you think we can maintain our passion for our jobs without getting caught up in that whole promotion race? Like, what’s the secret sauce to staying motivated when everyone around us is chasing titles?

I ask because I feel like it can be easy to lose sight of what we truly enjoy when we’re bombarded with that comparison, especially in this fast-paced environment. Would love to hear your thoughts!
